SEPTEMBER TAROT WELLNESSCOPES

Virgo-- Two of Swords Rx

Virgo, what’s blocking you this month? Indecision and ignoring your intuition are two ways to cause a stalemate. This month, pay attention to your decision making and choices. WHY are you making certain choices and how are they moving you closer to your goals? Don’t get caught up in your doubts or fears, leaving you frozen, instead, trust your gut to help you move forward. It is ok to pause and recenter before making your choice, but don’t let it keep you stuck.

Food: Papaya-- This fruit is the best fruit for digestive issues. It contains powerful digestive enzymes that support the pancreas and aid in your digestive process. They mend the intestinal tract and reduce inflammation. When we eat Papayas they cast out any negativity and doubt and fill us up with the light, energy and determination. Eat Papaya this month to help your decision making.

Movement: Frog Pose-- This pose helps to relieve tension, stress, depression and aid in digestion. We store most of our emotional trauma and pain in our hips. So doing this pose frequently this month will help release any blockages so you can effortlessly move forward.

Libra-- Page of Swords

This month is all about becoming playful with your thoughts, ideas and imaginations. How can you use the energy of the Page of Swords to create a fresh perspective? Sometimes it’s easy to get caught in old thought patterns and behaviors, but the Page invites us to move through our world with lightness and curiosity. The Page ruled by Earth and the swords ruled by air will inspire you to go after those big goals, while continuing to stay grounded. Don’t worry if you can’t find your footing at first, this month is all about play, curiosity and growth.

Food: Wild Blueberries-- These berries are one of the most anti-oxidant rich fruits. They are also rich with innate wisdoms cultivated over the years. They grow on low hanging on bushes, so they have learned how to adapt and survive over many decades. When we eat them, this wisdom assimilates with our bodies, bestowing us with this deep knowledge. This month eat wild blueberries to instill wisdom and to remind you of sweetness of life.

Movement: Skating— Any kind of skating will do— roller skating, ice skating, skateboarding, razor scootering, etc. Just get out there and get into the rhythmic gliding motion. This exercise will help you feel light and tap into the flow of the universe. It will help you loosen up and become more free and playful.

Scorpio-- King of Swords

The King of Swords is the master of communication, intellect and boundaries. He can easily and sometimes firmly communicate his thoughts. He has mastered his mind to work for him, not against him. Using the air energy of intellect and the fiery energy of passion, he has fused the two to garner respect, cultivate boundaries and effectively communicate with himself or others. This month Scorpio, take a cue from the King— where in your life could you utilize communication around boundaries, projects and relationships? How can you be a master of your own mind and effortlessly communicate these ideas to others. The King is a masculine energy (not gender related) as in— forward moving, outward, hard— try to channel this energy to help you along this month.

Food- Dragon Fruit— This fruit is hot pink and prickly on the outside, but soft and sweet on the inside, reminding us to tap into that King energy. Dragon Fruit has anti-aging in benefits, boosts your immune system, helps with digestion, and is great for your heart health. Eat Dragon Fruit this month to help you master healthy boundaries for your benefit.

Movement- Rock climbing— This month try something new! Rock climbing outdoors or at an indoor park will encourage you to become a master of your world. You have to use your physical strength, courage, intellect, and strategic mind to make it to the top. Not to mention it's a great all body workout!

Sagitarius: The Hermit

The Hermit is ruled by Virgo, the sign in which we are currently circulating. The Hermit reminds us to seek within for the knowledge we are looking for. This card, like Virgo, is practical and Earthy, encouraging you to slow down and drop in with yourself. How can you look to your own inner lantern to guide you to new heights? How can you through your own experiences, lead by example. It is easy to follow the path of others, but how can you explore your own inner worlds, spend time in solitude, to truly discover your own uniqueness? The Hermit encourages you to spend this month with more focus on yourself, looking within to find the answers. As you recharge and reconnect you will then be able to fully express yourself to the world.

Food: Red Cabbage— This is one of the most nutritious vegetables available, jam packed with vitamins and minerals. It is a powerful anti-oxidant and helps fight inflammation. It is also great for the digestive track. Cabbage grows deep in the earth and the sprouts its leaves when its ready to be harvested. Just like the Hermit teaches us, we must go deep to discover our own truth and when ready, bloom and show it to the world.

Movement: Meditation— This month, take it easy and focus on dropping in with yourself. Making a conscious effort this month to set aside time to sit and drop in will help you connect with your true essence. Any form of meditation will do— breathwork, walking meditation, counting meditation, mantra, etc. By implementing this practice this month, you will be able to connect more deeply with yourself and find your inner light to guide you.

Capricorn-- Six of Pentacles Rx

This month Capricorn, focus on finding a balance between your heart and your mind in order to place your attention on projects that really need it. When we see this card reversed it can mean that you may be acting out of a place that is unbalanced and your investments are not being returned. Make sure you take the time this month to rebalance your resources-- time, money, advice etc, to tap into the abundance of the Pentacles suit. The number six often symbolizes harmony, equilibrium and imbalances that have been rectified. This card is inviting you to find stability this month in all of your endeavors to create harmony in your life. It also slightly echoes that of the Justice card-- the idea of cause and effect and finding truth to create balance.

Food: Tangerines-- This fruit protects the body from radiation and removes toxic heavy metals. Tangerines are commonly known for their Vitamin C content, but they also contain bioactive calcium that you cannot find in any other fruit. The acid helps to actually strengthen your teeth and dissolve kidney stones. Tangerines fill us up with warmth and radiance as well as remind us to peel back the layers to create a strong foundation and create balance.

Movement: One Legged Deadlift-- This exercise is to help you find balance while moving. The up and down motion on one leg can be hard to do without falling forward or backwards. So as you do this exercise, focus on finding that stability to help you stay grounded and centered. This will remind you to find this in all aspects of your life.

Aquarius-- Four of Cups Rx

This month pay attention to what is being offered to you. Is it something that will further your growth (personally, professionally, spiritually, etc)? Or are many of the opportunities coming your way just a distraction? Make sure to focus on what fills you up this month, expressing gratitude for all that you have. Often times we get distracted by so many things that the outer world presents to us, we forget to recognize what we already have. When we focus on what we have or practice gratitude, we will then attract opportunity that do fully align with our paths and highest and best. So, this month follow those opportunities that are rewarding and aligning with your path.

Food: Parsley-- This herb is extremely alkalizing for the body. It fights pathogens, parasites, and bacteria, as well as helps fight cancer. This herb is also excellent for oral health and promotes healthy gums and teeth. Parsley teaches us to be grounded and be open to new experiences. Many people may not think much of Parsley at first, but it is incredible for our health. Keep this in mind this month regarding the opportunities that are presented to you-- don't pass some by because you write them off. Make sure to get all the details so you can make informed decisions.

Movement: Mat Pilates-- This month, mat pilates is a great physical body exercise to build strength and stamina. Mat pilates is an intense full body wrokout, with no equipment needed, just your body! This is an excellent reminder to not get distracted by other offerings, but to focus and use what you have to get you were you need to go.

Pisces-- The Fool Rx

What are you afraid of this month, Pisces? Don’t feel like you have to wait for the right time to seize the day— as the phrase goes “carpe diem”. Seize that opportunity now! The fool encourages us to take that leap of faith and jump whole heartedly into that new project, job, opportunity that we’ve always wanted to explore. As long as you desires and passions align, why not try it? This card reminds us that sometimes in order to jump we need to just surrender and trust the universe. You don’t have to have all the steps planned out, you don’t have to have a fully detailed roadmap, you just need to talk that first step and the rest will follow. What are you waiting for?

Food: Radishes-- Radishes are a great immune system replenisher and are an incredible heart food. Surprisingly, their leaves are the most nutritious part of the vegetable. The leaves are packed with minerals, antioxidants and are a powerful prebiotic. Radishes need to be harvested at the right moment when the leaves and root are tender. Eat radishes this month to remind you not to delay or wait to take action. Trust your gut for the right timing and go with it!

Movement: Box Jumps-- This is a great cardio exercise and builds calf and glute strength. The repetitive jumping motion will encourage you to take the leap in your own life when making decisions. Do this exercise this month to get you strong and ready to follow your passions.

Aries-- The Magician

Aries, this is your month to manifest to heart's content. After Mercury retrograde, this month is the time to put your energy and skills to good use. Take the time this month to get very clear on your intentions to find exactly what you want. Allow yourself to act as a clear channel for your passions and desires. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. This card is ruled by mercury, the planet ruling communication. How you communicate and use your words will be a big part of your manifestations this month.

Movement: Star Jumps-- This motion of bring your arms up above your head and then in a downward motion to the ground is an excellent visualization for bringing your dreams and desires from the universe into this physical plane. This exercise is also great to get you heart rate up and can be done anywhere.

Taurus-- Temperance Rx

Taurus, where in your life do you feel out of balance? This month take the time to assess and review to help you find some balance. Sometimes it can be easy to overwhelmed or caught up in our emotions, stress, anxieties etc, that we push ourselves out of balance. This in turn only continues to perpetuate the unhealthy pattern. Temperance is urging us to stop, pause and tap in to find the root cause of what you are experiencing. Instead of continuously pushing through, Temperance reminds us of the importance to find balance before we continue on. This month Taurus, find the time to find respite to make sure you are ready to take on whatever comes next.

Food: Red Clover-- This herb is a powerful support for the lymph system and in fighting disease. It also has an energizing effect and can help you to feel replenished. Red Clover grows vigorously and reminds us that even when times are tough to keep going. Take time this month to eat/drink Red Clover to give you the energy to tackle all that arises.

Movement: Sprint - Jog - Sprint-- This exercise encourages you to push yourself, but then to also recharge by slowing down by jogging. It reminds you to not just keep forcing or pushing yourself above your limit, but to find balance in the forward journey. Not to mention, this is a great way to help you get in shape!


Gemini- The Chariot

This month is all about getting your chariot, or projects, dreams, aspirations moving. You may have the idea or completed the coursework, but how are you actually going to move forward? How can you create momentum this month Gemini? The hardest part can sometimes be to get that forward motion and maintain the stamina, but this month don’t be afraid to experiment. Think outside the box, make connections and ride the waves. The Chariot is ruled by the Cancer the crab, so this card is also encouraging you to assess your means that have gotten you on your journey this far. Is it time for a change? Maybe what got you here today will no longer serve you for tomorrow and that’s ok. Take the time this month to explore and find what help you take off.

Movement: Swimming laps-- This month try all different strokes when swimming laps. Trying out a variety of strokes will show you the different methods of how to propel yourself forward. Swimming is also wonderful exercise for the whole body-- creating strength and stamina, without the pounding on the joints.

Cancer-- The Hanged Man Rx

Cancer, this month allow yourself to surrender. Let go of any control and allow yourself to see things from a new perspective. This will open up new doors where you once thought there were only walls. You will be able to see through fresh eyes and make new connections and opportunities. The Hanged man is ruled by water, so remember to just flow this month. Don’t fight the current or you will get worn out. Learning to float and flow will allow you to lean in the energy of the universe and expand yourself.

Food: Cucumber water-- This refreshing drink will encourage you to tap into the water energy and to help you become fluid. Cucumbers help to nourish you at a cellular level and cool down your overused glands. Drink this tonic to cool down and go with the flow.

Leo-- King of Wands
